Bio for Paul J. Jorgenson
53 years old.
Married to my wife, Deb, for 30 years.
Father to four biological children and two adopted boys.
Have done infant foster care for nine years and have taken care of about 30 children.
I have been involved with the Men’s Ministry in the churches that I have attended.
Graduated from the University of North Dakota in 1978.
Worked as an assistant athletic trainer for the New Orleans Saints professional football team for five years
I worked for an orthopedic surgeon in Milwaukee, WI as an orthopedic physicians assistant for 18 years.
While living in Milwaukee, WI, I started doing home remodeling work in 2003 and continued with this until August of 2007 when I moved to Minneapolis.
I partnered up with a couple of friends and we “flipped houses” and did other residential remodeling projects such as kitchens, bathrooms, and basements.
Why was I attracted to this work:
My dad was a cabinet maker for many years in Montevideo, MN and I learned a great deal of skills from him. He did quality work and I learned from him how you need to listen and work with customers.
Even when I was working in other jobs, woodworking has always been a hobby of mine. Transitioning into remodeling work seemed to be the right fit.
I love working with people and helping them come up with new ideas and designs for projects around the house. Seeing the smiles on their faces when the project is complete makes it all worth the effort.
